Vanglaini is a leading news publication having operated for over forty years in Mizoram. Apart from building their digital media, we ensured the Vanglaini team's transition to digital process was a smooth one. We did this by studying their time-tested process and building a highly customised solution around them. The website traffic and app reviews speak for themselves
MZ News
MZ News a news app that delivers real-time coverage of breaking news, politics, sports and more. The app allows users to customize their experience by selecting their preferred news sources and topics. Available for both iOS and Android, the app is designed with a user-friendly interface and offers a seamless browsing experience.
Zonet Score Caster Pro
Scorecaster Pro is a complete sporting event broadcasting system. It includes score keeping, in-stadium displays, and overlay feeds for broadcasting. It was built for Zonet to broadcast the Mizoram Super League basketball tournaments. Built on .NET and employing custom graphics shareds, the solution is available as a Windows native build.

Tirhkoh Dawla is a brilliant entrepreneur who runs a unique odd job service. To scale up to his increasing client base and popularity, we streamlined and digitized his internal operations. The highly customised solution features web and mobile components. Now his team goes home on time everyday.
Synod Archive
Mizoram Synod is the major church organisation body in Mizoram. It maintains digital documents and media in various forms. Not having a proper data and media organisation system, the body faced problems in information access and distribution. Makkati designed and deployed a solution that facilitated proper data storage and access specifically for the Synod's use cases. The solution streamlined their workflow and eliminated multiple administrative bottlenecks.
Women Help Line
The Women Helpline app is a mobile app meant to supplement the 181 24-hour toll-free helpline for women in distress. Among others, the app offers related news and information, a messaging system, and a distress button. Run by the Mizoram Government, it has proven useful to a number of women. Makkati is honoured to have been a part of the solution to this social issue.
Science Center Virtual Tour
The Mizoram Science Center showcases science museum exhibits with the objective of promoting the growth of science and technology. Covid-19 severely restricted it's operations and the government was looking for avenues to maintain the museum's exposure. Makkati stepped up to capture the whole facility in 360° media format using specialised equipment, and went on to build an online virtual tour to simulate a physical visit.
Tourism 360
In an initiative to capture various aspects of Mizoram's natural heritage, Makkati worked with the Mizoram Tourism Department to capture high quality media of various sites of interest. With our experience and expertise in the field of immersive media production, Makkati employed specialized equipment to capture media in certain unconventional formats. These media can be viewed using special hardware.
MIZOFED
Makkati developed a simple yet informative website for MIZOFED. The website provides basic information about the agency's mission, services, and contact details. The website was designed with a clean and modern layout, easy navigation and optimized for search engines. The website is fully responsive, ensuring a seamless browsing experience on any device.
DIPR
During the initial stages of the COVID-19 pandemic. Makkati developed and donated a public information system to the Department of Information and Public Relations, Mizoram. The system consists of a publicly available mobile app and a central information management system to quickly and efficiently disseminate official information to the general public.
